TEAM MEMBERS
"Welcome to PetzRFamily2, where we believe that furry four-legged friends are family. We will love and care for them as if they are own when we are with them, whether it be for a jaunt around the neighborhood or extended time while you are away. I am proud to say that I have an excellent family run team who make our services warm, friendly, and reliable.
I always had animals growing up from hamsters to kitties, to dogs, goats, cows, horses, and anything in between. Starting our own Petsitting Company seemed like a natural fit. However, it takes much more than a love of animals to make a company work and after thorough research and lots of training, we officially launched "Petz" 11/11/11. As our company began to grow, I began to see my true calling. I began advanced training in Reiki for animals, as well as Hospice and Senior Care for the furry set. I furthered my training with Young Living Essential Oils and animals at a conference in October, 2018 and incorporate this knowledge into my client care. This truly is my passion. |
“Don’t deny the diagnosis, deny the verdict”...Gail Pope, Brighthaven Haven Animal Sanctuary.
I always said that my true test would be when it came to say good-bye to my own. Sadly, both our Border Collie, “Odie” of 12 years and his Aussie pal, “Camo”, 11 got hit with cancer and died within two weeks of each other. As I am a big believer in alternative methods, we used great nutrition, acupuncture, homeopathy, Reiki, essential oils, and lots of love to help build their immune systems to be as strong as possible and "live" the last days of their lives.
They are “survived” by their kitty sister, Cassie, Freddy the gopher snake, and new pals Hamilton, our quirky Border Collie (3), Olive our silly Aussie (2.5) and our two legged family JD (30), Eric (27), August (19) and my husband of 31 years, Jim.
Previous to PetzRFamily2, I was a piano teacher of 25+ years (still can find me teaching some wonderful select students) and a former teacher with NVUSD.

My husband and worker-bee, Jim Rinehart

"My name is Jim Rinehart, Cynthia's team member! Before meeting Cynthia 31 years ago, I was a confirmed bachelor with no kids and no pets. Little did I know how drastically my life would change. Today, my life is full with 3 beautiful children and numerous animals. Through Cynthia, I have seen that a house is not a home if it is not filled with laughter, a bit of running, a meow and a bark here and there. Our house is never empty with two puppies running around, a snake who likes to slither around my waist and our kitty "Cassie" who likes to make my warm chest her bed.
I am semi-retired which allows me to walk dogs with PetzRFamily2 and play feather stick with the kitties. You will find me riding on my mellow yellow recumbent bike which I ride from sit to sit. A few of the pups even prefer to run along side me as I ride! I must admit my favorite are our "Hotel Buddy" sits, meeting friends from all over the country and spending the day with them. I am also a pet friendly designated driver, so when not walking dogs you may find me driving for a wine tour in our lovely Napa Valley."
